“Love and Respect”. Married couples will benefit from this class--even single teens and young adults will receive some tools to prepare for future relationships. A quote from the study...” What is Love and Respect? We believe love best motivates a woman and respect most powerfully motivates a man. Research reveals that during marital conflict a husband most often reacts when feeling disrespected and a wife reacts when feeling unloved. We asked 7,000 people this question: when you are in a conflict with your spouse or significant other, do you feel unloved or disrespected? 83% of the men said, “Disrespected.” 72% of the women said, “Unloved.” Though we all need love and respect equally, the felt need differs during conflict and this difference is as different as pink is from blue! We find this concept in Ephesians 5:33 and it has become evident in social research.”

“Man Up!”
This study is designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teaching and small group interaction. Imagine the transforming power of men coming together within our church and community to honestly examine their lives and take the courageous steps necessary to embrace authentic manhood on a journey to become who God intends them to be. That is the goal of Man Up! When men connect in life-changing ways, a powerful ripple effect touches families, workplaces, and the church. Deeper connections with God and other men inspire participants to connect more meaningfully in all facets of their lives. They climb beyond the walls of isolation and aspire to a biblical viewpoint marked by integrity, boldness, and compassion. Through this powerful series, men learn to reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and expect God’s greater reward. “Man Up! is a chapter of a nationwide men’s ministry called “Men’s Fraternity.”
