Ministry
The Women’s Ministry at Journey Christian Church exists to help women grow in their relationship with Christ while building meaningful connections with one another. Our vision is to see women deeply connected in Christ-centered community—growing in faith, equipped through Scripture, walking in discipleship, and living out God’s love with purpose and grace.
Relationships are part of spiritual growth
We believe relationships are an important part of spiritual growth, which is why we intentionally create opportunities for women to connect. Throughout the year we host regular gatherings and monthly socials that provide relaxed spaces for women to build friendships, encourage one another, and walk through life together in a supportive community.
Spiritual growth is also a key focus of our ministry. We encourage women to grow in their faith and knowledge of Scripture through Bible studies and participation in small groups. Gifted women within our church help lead and facilitate studies, and we provide opportunities for shared reading plans to help women engage with God’s Word in meaningful and practical ways.
Discipleship is an important part of our ministry as women grow in their relationship with Christ and walk alongside one another in faith. We regularly share testimonies of life transformation to celebrate what God is doing and encourage others in their spiritual journey. Our ministry also looks for ways to live out God’s love through quarterly serve days and hands-on mission opportunities that bless our church and community. Prayer remains central to everything we do, with intentional time to pray together and support one another through every season of life. Our goal is to cultivate a thriving community where every woman feels known, encouraged, and empowered to live boldly in her identity and calling in Christ.
